The Intermediate Maintenance required message will be illuminated on the display when the service is due. This will generally happen at different times during the vehicle's lifetime. This service is due based on mileage or time dependent. If the mileage for maintenance has not been reached, the service must be performed every 2, 6, 10 years the latest. This ensures your Panamera performs to it's optimal level and to protect your investment. This service also applies to 911 Carrera, 987 Boxster/Cayman, Cayenne and other models.
We start by performing the Porsche Intermediate Maintenance checklists on this Panamera which consist of the following:
- Electronics - Wipers, horn, tire systems. Fault codes readout.
- Outside the vehicle - Brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, etc.
- Engine compartment - Coolant, PDCC and power steering, battery, etc.
Based on our initial inspections and mileage of the car, the following maintenance will be performed:
- Oil and filter change
- Air filter replacement
- Brake fluid flush
- Spark plugs replacement
The front bumper is removed to gain access to the air box for the air filter replacement.
With the repairs completed, we'll be resetting the Intermediate Maintenance counter with the Porsche Piwis diagnostic system.
We perform functional tests on electronics during our road tests for ParkAssist, Braking, electronic parking brake, seat electronics, air conditioning and heating, transmission and more. All services are completed by Porsche trained technicians every time you bring your Panamera in for repairs or maintenance. Our proper care and maintenance to your car will preserve the value of your Porsche and safeguard it's functionalities.
