Mercedes Active Service System
Mercedes ASSYST is an onboard system that notifies the driver of the number of miles remaining before the next service is due. It works by calculating the aging of the oil and additional factors, such as operating conditions, stop and go driving, high speed driving, and cold starts are also calculated to determine the time/distance between service visits. The service required message can range from “A” thru to “H”, A indicates a routine service and H would indicate a more in-depth service.
