I can't say enough good things about Nick and the crew. I recently took my 2004 Volvo V70R to Manhattan Volvo to replace a headlight. They changed the bulb and claimed to have given the car a 60 point inspection and all was fine. Three days later I took it to MINHS to get price on changing the timing belt as it was nearing time for replacing that. They gave the car a very thorough examination and found important and obvious items needing attention that the dealer had complete...

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS .. I recently purchased my 2008 bmw m3 about 3 weeks ago put close to 1500 miles on it doing short road trips up state etc car has been running amazing but I did noticed that the car had a differential leak one of my close friends is a mechanic that usually works on all of my cars for years I bought it to him first to check it out where the leak was coming from he confirmed it was leaking from the front seal of the diff he said he couldn't address it right away because he was going on vacation and I'd need to leave it for 2 day long story short I decided to give MINHS a shot since I always drive by this shop and always saw bmws audis mb getting worked on so I figured they might be a reputable shop so on Friday morning 11/11/16 I went 1st thing in the morning to see how much would they charge for parts and labor and thing I will want to make clear when I dropped the car off it had absolutely no warning light on the dash other then low windshield washer fluid ! They took me in as a walk it I had no appointment so I already knew it was going to have to leave the car for some time the 1st gentle men I spoke to was very professional told me they were a little backed up and it was going to be a while for them to check it I had no problem doing so I came back within 3 hours he told me it was leaking exactly where I told them which was fine then they told me the car needed break pad sensors I know the rotors and pads on the car are practically brand new and I had no warning lights on the dash so I just ignored that because I know how shops like these work in the sense they want to get every dime out of you the gentlemen told me that their was also a stored check engine light on it which not once in the 1500 miles I've been driving it has shown up car also passed state inspection the week prior but again I ignored it cause like I said the car has been running amazing the guy told me he was going to email me a quote for the seal for the differential and the labor I said no problem at the end of the day if you work on these cars all day you should already have a idea of a quote of how many hours it'll take for the job with out even looking at the car but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and told him to email me I get the keys to my car turn it on pull the ebrake down the car is showing the BRAKE light and also the warning sign for worn pads I ask the guy I forgot his name why is this on all of a sudden when I dropped it off it had no warning lights he basically wanted me to pay for it he said look if you want I'll cover the sensors they're 20 bucks ... That's where they lost my trust I come in for a check up on a leak and a price leave with out a quote and the car has warning lights it never had before I told him to leave it alone I didn't want them to touch the car anymore I went to bmw in bayridge and ordered 3 new brake pad sensors for the car this morning 11/12/16 I get in the car to drive to bmw to pick up the sensors THE CAR DOESN'T START and shows service engine soon and various other warning lights it's 38 degrees I had my daughter with me and I'm stuck walking 4 blocks to their shop to see what the hell they did to the car I explained what was happening they asked where the the car is I took the walk with the most unprofessional manager I've met in the car industry named TAM they plug in the scan tool to the car like magic the car starts but has more warning lights on the dash I explain to him how would you feel if you bring your car to my shop with only one issue that requires nothing but a visual check of a differential seal and I return the car to you with warning lights and the next day the car won't start ? He said oh well I'm not making this up and a Etc and ended the conversation at go get a second opinion and walked away. Now my car is at bmw getting fixed cause God knows what they say

2006 BMW X3 Linked up with James, could not be happier with the service. They know the lingo and the common problems with BMW. Was my first time using their service but I will be back for more. They are a little bit more expensive then some other technicians but that is expected. Their vehicle diagnosis report that is sent to the customer is great and they walk you through what's needed now and what can wait. Overall... 5/5 Will update this review as we continue our relationship.

During my two visits to Minhs I've extremely good experiences. The two intake guys, Nick and Vinny that I dealt with were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Minhs if you like me and you don't like to worry when it comes to car repairs. I trust their experience put my mind at ease.
