The stars say it all. As good as it gets. They are knowledgeable, efficient, HONEST and care about their customers. Rare commodities in any industry especially automotive repair. The reservation process was easy and reliable, the service was top shelf, communication was excellent. No surprises. In a day when even new purchases come in broken and dented, my car was returned cleaner than I left it. From a cost standpoint, there is NO REASON to visit the dealer who always did their best to pad the repair list...perfect on all counts and I have become a MINHS evangelist. Did I mention they are all nice guys and a pleasure to deal with !

I've been a customer of MINHS for over four years for my 2004 Audi Allroad and 2007 BMW 328xi wagon. These guys are top-notch and better than the dealer. They've taken care of everything from programming TPMS sensors to changing my water pump and thermostat. They use all genuine OEM parts and warranty the parts. MINHS is not your corner mechanic and prices are accordingly, but to get what you pay for in terms of quality of work, promptness of service, and delivering when promised. Still, they are much cheaper than the dealer and I'd trust their diagnosis of a problem over the dealer any day because many deal mechanics are straight out of auto tech school and the guys at MINHS have years of professional experience. If you need something simple done like mounting tires or changing brake rotors, go to your neighborhood mechanic, but for anything under the hood, make the trip to MINHS.

I have been using MINHS services for the past year for my old MB, which was the first car I had bought from a car dealer whom I thought could be trusted, but who turned out to be a big rascal! I had used a few other services for couple of times and felt all the time I got overcharged or the "fixed" problems came back a week later. Then I found MINHS from the internet! I only wish I had found them earlier or at least gone to them for a checkup before buying it! Will NOT do this mistake again like buying a car so credulously. I definitely trust them. MINHS workers know their job, they're reliable and patient to explain what needs to be done right away and what should be kept an eye on. They keep your car healthy and drivable. I recommend MINHS to all who a need a car mechanic.

The guys at MINHS installed a APR Stage 1 chip into my '08 MK5. Super impressed with level of service - will be going back for all GTI needs going forward.

I'm a return customer. Brought my 2001 Audi TT Roadster there. Very professional in all aspects of the service. They will listen to your concerns about your car, do an inspection of your car for other items that need your attention. They include the actual photos. They then review the items on the report, and decided on a course of action. The work that I originally gone in for was basically scheduled servicing. They found other things that needed to be looked at. No problem...I want the car to be trouble free for long drives. I had some of them repaired now, and others a little later. Overall they're honest, knowledgeable and great technicians.

To Nick and the crew at Minhs Automotive: Thank you so very much for your superb customer care even when I'm driving my VW Golf over 1,600 miles away from Brooklyn. It is very comforting to know that I can continue my travels with peace of mind that my car is working well. THANK YOU!

I feel the most important factor in finding a good auto mechanic is trust. Can you trust they are giving you a fair price and can you trust they know what they're doing with your "baby"? Unfortunately, that's hard to find, from both the shady looking smaller shops around the city to the dealers, who may be the shadiest of them all. I've gone to MINHS for a few years now getting regular service to my "seasoned" Lexus, and I've always felt my car was in good hands. The space is clean and organized, and everyone I've dealt with has been very professional. I never had a problem with any of their work in that time. The real kicker, though, is the level of service from these guys is outstanding. They'll listen carefully to you, they'll take the time to explain everything thoroughly, they'll be honest about what you really need vs. what can wait a while, they've even thrown in a couple free services when I've had extensive work done. I was much more impressed with the level of service from MINHS than I'd received from a certain dealership in the city whose name I won't mention but who may or may not be affiliated with the aforementioned vehicle I own. I was a little surprised to read some negative reviews here. I haven't looked into it in detail but felt the prices seemed lower than a typical dealership. Beyond that, you get what you pay for--if you want solid work and service that goes the extra mile, well, you gotta pay for that. They're worth it.

They are never condescending. That's important to a non-mechanical, but not stupid middle aged woman like me! They always explain clearly. Several times they took care of the things for which the dealer was charging twice their price. Twice, when they couldn't fit me in, they called a nearby shop and helped me get in there! It was like the scene in "Miracle on 34th Street," when the real Santa sent a customer to another store! Seriously, they've done me several solids by fitting me in or charging me very competitively.

MINH'S is first rate! My experience with them has been unprecedented. A few months back I took my Bug to the volkswagen dealership in bay ridge to get my driver's side car window motor replaced and an oil change. They call me the next day with an estimate and they tell me I need a whole new transmission in addition to a slew of other very costly repairs. Making an estimate I thought would be around $500, to $3000! I needed a second opinion because the dealership was clearly trying to extort me which is when I went online and read all the great reviews of MINH'S and gave them a call. I was initially looking for a mechanic that could beat the price of the repairs volkswagen said I needed. But long story short, my main man Vinny said he couldn't find any evidence of my transmission going, other than spilled oil on the outside of the engine. Once it was clean, there still was no evidence of my transmission dying. That alone saved me over $1000!! That ordeal is enough for MINH'S to have won my patronage for life, but they are great about communicating the details of the repairs they find that need to be done immediately and what can wait. Which is sincerely appreciated for someone like me on a budget. They also send detailed email estimates including photos, and if you don't respond to the email by a certain time, they give you a call. As I said, they are first rate!
