I'm a return customer. Brought my 2001 Audi TT Roadster there. Very professional in all aspects of the service. They will listen to your concerns about your car, do an inspection of your car for other items that need your attention. They include the actual photos. They then review the items on the report, and decided on a course of action. The work that I originally gone in for was basically scheduled servicing. They found other things that needed to be looked at. No problem...I want the car to be trouble free for long drives. I had some of them repaired now, and others a little later. Overall they're honest, knowledgeable and great technicians.

To Nick and the crew at Minhs Automotive: Thank you so very much for your superb customer care even when I'm driving my VW Golf over 1,600 miles away from Brooklyn. It is very comforting to know that I can continue my travels with peace of mind that my car is working well. THANK YOU!

I feel the most important factor in finding a good auto mechanic is trust. Can you trust they are giving you a fair price and can you trust they know what they're doing with your "baby"? Unfortunately, that's hard to find, from both the shady looking smaller shops around the city to the dealers, who may be the shadiest of them all. I've gone to MINHS for a few years now getting regular service to my "seasoned" Lexus, and I've always felt my car was in good hands. The space is clean and organized, and everyone I've dealt with has been very professional. I never had a problem with any of their work in that time. The real kicker, though, is the level of service from these guys is outstanding. They'll listen carefully to you, they'll take the time to explain everything thoroughly, they'll be honest about what you really need vs. what can wait a while, they've even thrown in a couple free services when I've had extensive work done. I was much more impressed with the level of service from MINHS than I'd received from a certain dealership in the city whose name I won't mention but who may or may not be affiliated with the aforementioned vehicle I own. I was a little surprised to read some negative reviews here. I haven't looked into it in detail but felt the prices seemed lower than a typical dealership. Beyond that, you get what you pay for--if you want solid work and service that goes the extra mile, well, you gotta pay for that. They're worth it.

They are never condescending. That's important to a non-mechanical, but not stupid middle aged woman like me! They always explain clearly. Several times they took care of the things for which the dealer was charging twice their price. Twice, when they couldn't fit me in, they called a nearby shop and helped me get in there! It was like the scene in "Miracle on 34th Street," when the real Santa sent a customer to another store! Seriously, they've done me several solids by fitting me in or charging me very competitively.

MINH'S is first rate! My experience with them has been unprecedented. A few months back I took my Bug to the volkswagen dealership in bay ridge to get my driver's side car window motor replaced and an oil change. They call me the next day with an estimate and they tell me I need a whole new transmission in addition to a slew of other very costly repairs. Making an estimate I thought would be around $500, to $3000! I needed a second opinion because the dealership was clearly trying to extort me which is when I went online and read all the great reviews of MINH'S and gave them a call. I was initially looking for a mechanic that could beat the price of the repairs volkswagen said I needed. But long story short, my main man Vinny said he couldn't find any evidence of my transmission going, other than spilled oil on the outside of the engine. Once it was clean, there still was no evidence of my transmission dying. That alone saved me over $1000!! That ordeal is enough for MINH'S to have won my patronage for life, but they are great about communicating the details of the repairs they find that need to be done immediately and what can wait. Which is sincerely appreciated for someone like me on a budget. They also send detailed email estimates including photos, and if you don't respond to the email by a certain time, they give you a call. As I said, they are first rate!

Long overdue review here. So I was having a bad month with my 535xi and after checking reviews I came here. The guys know their stuff here. I would've given 5 stars but the second time I had my water pump replaced I got my car back smelling like someone was smoking in it. Let me rephrase I know someone was smoking in it because I found their lighter in the tray. Other than that they are a bit pricey but you get 3 year/36k warranty for the service so not a bad deal

Took my car in awhile ago for thrust arm replacement and it was done extremely fast (same day)

Brought my 2011 BMW here with a multitude of problems after having received a quote and a questionable diagnostic from the BMW of Manhattan service center. Nick was so super helpful and cool and straightforward. The diagnostic report he ran was better than anything I'd ever received from BMW. He was honest and transparent in what the car needed vs what was suggested. Pricing was a third of what I was quoted at BMW. Service was fast and spot on. Thank you. This will be my go-to spot from now on.

MINHS has been taking care of my vehicles for more than ten years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is friendly and personable (they greet me by name) and their customer service is outstanding. Here’s an example: a couple of times, when they discovered damage that needed repairing, they sent me a PDF report detailing each issue with photos of the damage, cost estimates and their recommendations as to which repairs should be prioritized in case cost was an issue. No pressure to make expensive repairs – if the repair isn't urgent, they say so. When was the last time you had a mechanic that did that? I highly recommend the guys at MINHS!

After 5 years of having my car serviced at MINHS, I feel I should warn anyone who is thinking of taking their car to MINHS: you will be spoiled forever. For example: I've never had a mechanic send me a PDF report detailing their inspection of my car, complete with photos of the damage, leaks and other problems they discovered. They are honest, friendly and do great work fast.
