I bought a car a couple of years ago after more than 10 years without one. I was more than a little stressed about maintaining the car and dealing with sketchy car mechanics. I found MINH's on Park Slope Parents and I couldn't be happier. They are polite, honest, and efficient, and their prices don't feel exorbitant to me. They are meticulous to the point of sometimes giving me too much information about my car! They really seem to love what they do.

MINHS is great. They are thorough with their assessment of the repair needs to my car. I have been back twice now and every time I feel like they treat my car with care and respect. I also want to say that Michael Wildman is a great representative for MINHS! He speaks with clarity and never "talks down" to me, even if I don't quite understand they problem with my car. He is descriptive and detailed in his explanations and reasons for repairs. I have sent at least one of my friends there so far, and they were pleased as well! (we are both VW owners). I've been using MINHS for the past few years to service my 2004 Volvo. Honest, reasonable, on time, always in constant communication...what more could you want from your mechanics? Highly recommend.

It's the only place I would take my BMW X5. They are meticulous, courteous and explain everything they are doing and keep excellent records. Most important I trust them. There have been occasions where I know they could have gotten away with charging me more but didn't gouge me. I appreciate that.

My most recent repair was a warranty issue to replace the AC compressor that was done 4 months ago. The repair was fine, and I appreciate that the warranty was honored at no cost to me. However, I dropped my car off at 8:45am on Monday, 11/18, and didn't get it back until Friday, 11/22. It's great that Minhs is so busy but annoying when I make an appointment and it takes more than 4 days to complete the repair. It makes me suspicious that my car sat there for a couple of days before the work began. There was no explanation for this.

I have been using Minhs this past year after relying on the Audi dealer for service. The staff at Minhs are amazing! They are so respectful and courteous; I only wish I found them sooner! They do really great work and charge considerably less than the Audi dealer. I am not a car person, so I really appreciate them taking the time to show me the issues on my vehicle. I highly recommend them if you drive an Audi!

My dad gave me his 2004 Boxster for my birthday then one day the car was blowing white smoke from the tail pipe and I feared the worst. I took it to Minhs to get it checked out and the cause was some ventilation valve. The repairs totaled with the diagnostic came out to $400 and I was a happy camper again. I found the customer service, professionalism and price competitiveness to be the best at this place. I'm very satisfied with my 1st experience here and would definitely bring my Porsche back for future servicing.

i'm constantly impressed by the service at minhs. been going there for years, originally worked with tam (whom i believe took the place from his father before him). the friendliness is palpable, i've found them repeatedly honest and they do good work. they help save you $$ at every turn, recommending what needs to be done now versus later on. they also call after your appointment to see if you're happy with the service, and they send xmas cards. the latter is obviously a small detail, but details matter.
