I did a diagnostic and the price was a little high for me but at the end of the day, it was all worth it. Just bought a 2000 Saab 9-5 SE and of course took it to a mechanic right away to see all the imminent repairs to come. Because Saab's are known to be problematic, I took my baby to MINHS, after researching and reading reviews on Yelp. Although the car is close to mint aesthetically, the insides were not. Michael gave estimates on all necessary repairs and broke it down in language that made a lot of sense to a layman. Essentially the repairs were just normal wear and tear that the previous (and only one) owner never had done. Repairs involving timing belt, suspension, tires, wheel alignment, etc were taken care of in less than one week. Unfortunately within two days, we started noticing a whistling noise upon acceleration. When we brought it back, they fixed it within an hour, realizing it was a just pulley that needed to be adjusted - something to do with the tension of the serpentine belt that was affected after the replacement of the timing belt. They didn't charge me for the pulley and were super polite. I will be back for all maintenance and repairs. I never experienced mechanics so professional, courteous, and trustworthy.

The team of technicians at MINHS Auto Care Center are 'the' most professional and thorough auto repair techs I have worked with in the NY area. The staff know BMWs and other European models, they listen to the customer, and they take the appropriate time to diagnose problems and get it done right, the first time. These guys have fixed issues for me that BMW dealerships could not or totally misdiagnosed. The team is consistent and impressive on every visit.

SWEET RELIEF! I am elated to have found Minh's Auto. I have been a repeat customer over the last year for my '08 5-series BMW. Minh's is a boutique shop which has an incredibly knowledgeable staff and a very customer-friendly environment. I bring my car without fear of being taken advantage of and I always leave with the reassurance that my car has been serviced properly. Minh's only repairs what is required. I know this because I wanted to get my front brakes done and after a thorough assessment I was told I did not have to spend the money at that time. Instead, I was provided a detailed assessment (in writing) of what I should consider doing and what repairs were mandatory to keep my car in good shape. The assessments have not been wrong so I trust Michael without qualification when he tells me what repairs my car will need going forward. I am *so* grateful for Minh's because I am 100% confident that I am maintaining my older car with top notch service. Tam Minh is an extremely generous owner and he returns the investment you make in his business with utmost integrity and sterling service for foreign/luxury cars. This place is a godsend for anyone with an older car and expired dealer warranty. The five star rating is well deserved.

I have been taking my 2005 Volvo there for years now. I wouldn't trust any other shop with the car, since most of them don't even know how to change the oil. Minh's is always professional and courteous, does the work quickly and doesn't charge you an arm and a leg. Annnddd they knwo Volvos inside out.

I take my 1996 VW Passat here once a year for various repairs and tune-ups. They are always friendly and professional. I never feel like I'm paying too much or getting pressured into unnecessary repairs. My car is running great and I plan on continuing to have my car serviced there.

Took my car back for some additional servicing and got a bit worried when I was told there are some other problems they want to look into. At first I reacted that this was another typical mechanic scam but cautiously went ahead and gave them the go ahead to diagnose the issue. When I went to pick up the car at the end of the day, I was quite surprised how honest they were. They said that they failed to diagnose the issue and did not feel they could charge me for their time. They even offered to hand wash my car. These guys are definitely trustworthy! Five stars!

Been taking my car here for some years - they rarely recommend much work beyond the basics, so i was surprised when they suggested changing struts and shocks. But this 90 thousand mile old honda is now driving and handling like a new car - porbably safer than before, definitely more enjoyable. The high quality car wash was a pleasant addition. Highly recommended.
