After a long weekend with friends n family in Brooklyn my 03 M3 started to run funny. I didn't really know what to do since I really don't have a mechanic but the dealer. A friend told me about a place in Brooklyn and since I was already around there I took the chance. Not only did they get my repairs done quickly they walked me throw the whole repair too, instead of just handing me a bill. And the bill was a lot cheaper then I was use to. Thanks guys I STRONGLY SUGGEST THEM TO ANYONE.

Went for inspection. Staff was extremely professional and friendly and quick. They called us when the car was done. Best car service I've had in awhile

This place is great. Fair prices, trustworthy people, great work, friendly, efficient and most of all, they do what they say they'll do. I go to these guys with my Audi A4 without hesitation. Been there 3 times and I've been super satisfied every time. Most of all, each time I expected my bill to be more than it was and was pleasantly surprised when it was less. Highly recommend.

I came here when my car was having problems and am so happy I did. I had my front brakes and rotors replaced as well as a brake flush for a little under $500. The service could not be better. I have called them with car questions and they are very honest and super helpful. I am not from New York so I really appreciated the sincere answers they provided. I absolutely recommend this place.

Great service. Very transparent. Big thanks to Yelp for helping me find MINHS to service my Saab 9-5... As Saabs need to visit the garage every 3 months, I was a bit weary about moving to Brooklyn and finding a trusted mechanic. These guys are it.

As a rule, when visiting an auto shop in New York City I expect to be hustled and exploited (all the more so since, truth be told, I don't know a lot about car maintenance). So this place is a refreshing surprise. In my two visits, I have been impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff and pleased to note the lack of opacity in their pricing for parts and labor. On my most recent visit, I informed the mechanic that I would like a full, detailed inspection and a report of everything that is at least mildly wrong with the car. No problem! He wrote it up, went over everything with me point by point, and asked if I had any questions about his diagnoses. The entire time, I felt that I was in good hands - which, as any car owner in NYC will tell you, is a rare feeling indeed when at the garage. I recommend MINHS highly.

I could have seriously kissed these guys. Flew into New York for two days to buy a used car. The day we were leaving found a car with 21k miles at the local Lexus dealer that although had a few scratches the Lexus dealer promised me "was in pristine mechanical condition". Given the age of the car and limited time I was tempted to skip the independent inspection however I quickly checked yelp and found MINHS down the street. I called and spoke to Vinney to explain the situation. Although It was a Saturday, they were closing in a few hours, and Vinny understood I was from out of town (ie wouldn't likely be a repeat customer) he told me to bring the car in and they would squeeze us in. Fast forward 2 hours after the dealer dragged their feet in letting us take the car we were at MINHS. We pulled in and before I know it three mechanics are going over this car like they are about to purchase the car for their mother. They viewed the car from every angle and ran their fingers over every inch (looking for body work), put the car on the lift, hooked the car up to their Toyota/Lexus computer, took the car for the test drive, etc. Best part when they were done they typed up a whole report to take back to the dealer of what they found and walked me through the details of what they were seeing, what they think caused the isssue, and an estimate of how much they thought it should cost to repair. Vinny even asked if I minded telling him what the dealer was asking and then used his system to determine actual fair market value of the car. He told me he thought I was getting a pretty good deal, especially if they would fix the items found, which made me feel even better about the purchase. I took the check list back to the dealer who didn't flintch when I told him about the checklist of items I found in his "pristine" car and he agreed to fix them all. In summary for $79 and an hour of my time, Vinny and his team saved me about 1000 dollars in repairs and helped with my piece of mind on my first car purchase. Highly recommended!

I don't have a ton of experience in NYC with auto care centers, so I wasn't expecting a lot. I have a volvo that needed a full check up and diagnostic after being purchased used. They specialize in volvo, bmw & mostly european cars. I also assumed they would be a rip off for this reason. I was proved wrong. Not only were the guys super nice there and helpful, they gave me options about what I could do (cheaper) what was critical and what could wait a little while. No scare tactics (which honestly, I would have believed being totally green) and fast as well. I am really pleased to find a go to car repair and check up place close by with professional and experienced mechanics.Minhs has made my life much easier! If you have a european car that you want to get taken care of at a reasonable price and from trustworthy people, go there!

What a wonderful experience!! We recently moved into the neighborhood. The BMW dealership where we bought it from had said we need to change the struts as it was DANGEROUS to drive the car in this condition... It would cost us $800. Decided to wait as the car was not giving us any problems. It is interesting how no major issues appear before the warranty period expired... go figure! Recently had a flat on our BMW (run-flat) and took the car to BMW authorized service place in the same neighborhood as MINHS. Along with fixing the tire the total estimate for REQUIRED things was $1000 plus. Just the oil change was estimated at $250. This is what happens when your car has gone past the 4 year maintenance included period, they really rip you off. In anycase, after a search on good old yelp, found out about MINHS, called them and decided to give them a shot. Total estimate for tire change and oil change along with a courtesy check was $400. What a saving!! Oil change here was for $75. A no-brainer. This has got to be one of the best auto shop experiences that I have had. Gave me the car back in less than 2 hours while I waited in the neighboring Dunkin Doughnuts. Adam and Vinny were great and explained everything. Will be going here with my car for sure. Excited to have found the perfect auto care shop!

THE hardest category to give 5 stars for. THE hardest thing to find in NYC or anywhere. When you ask "do you know a good mechanic? - people tend to hedge 'cause they don't want to commit (it's hard to be sure) like "good mechanic" is an oxymoron. But these guys come close. (in the category of "a good mechanic you can trust").
