I went to Minh's on the advice of you lovely Yelpers, who have so often helped me out in times of need. Well, they didn't disappoint. Adam, who seemed to be the interface dude with customers, was incredibly friendly, well-versed in auto terms, and had the look of a total Poindexter who would be as likely seen in Gorilla Coffee on his souped-up MacBook as behind the computer screen at Minhs, entering your customer and vehicle information into the system. They totally understand what it means to be on a budget, and will go through items by priority if you need them to, speaking clearly and frankly about the work that will be done. Haven't picked up the 1988 Volvo yet, but will let you know when I do!(12/14/09) Picked up my car and it sounds much nicer...though they might have talked themselves out of business! They gave me the idea that an electrical overhaul would cost too much, and I listened. Now I'm going to an electric specialist two days later for the job to be done anyway. Oh well, can't complain about a low-cost job anyway...(12/16)
